My A/C would not turn on. I called ASI the next day and was impressed that they were able to send someone out the same day.
The technician sent was Jesus C. The issue was somewhat tricky because it had to do partially with my bathroom drain being clogged.
Jesus did an excellent job finding the issue and resolving it to my satisfaction. He went above and beyond by clearing my clogged drain which was preventing the A/C from turning on.

Brandon Fowler arrived within the scheduled time frame to assess a shower faucet assembly replacement project I was doing. He quickly confirmed that to do what I wanted would require replacing the valve system installed behind the shower wall. He provided a quote for the job which I thought was reasonable. My A/C died a few days ago. Efrain Estrada and another technician came to install a new unit. They had a challenge because the new unit was larger and it had to fit in a contained space. From start to finish, Jesus was extremely professional, thorough, and clearly very knowledgeable about his work. He took the time to carefully service and clean both the AC and furnace, making sure everything was running properly and efficiently. What really stood out to me was his attention to detail—he didn’t rush the job and even went the extra mile by cleaning the outside of the unit, which I truly appreciated.
On top of that, his customer service was outstanding. He was friendly, respectful, and took the time to explain what he was doing, which gave me a lot of confidence in the work being performed.

After 21 years of faithful service our heater finally gave out. ASI came to the house and we went over a few options as to repair or replace. We elected the latter, and the very next morning ASI was on site with the new heater. Within 6 hours, Sebastian Garcia and his helper had the new heater installed. Sebastian spent some time explaining how to use the new thermostat, which is so much easier to use than the previous one. By the time they left the garage was clean and all the old stuff was carted away. A great job by an outstanding company. This morning I checked my old paperwork and found that the new heater and thermostat were only a couple of hundred dollars more than the ones I had purchased 21 years ago. ASI really offers good prices and great equipment. A special thanks to the service manager Joe Gondak for keeping in touch with the crew to insure there were no problems during the installation

This was the yearly plumbing inspection which I get as part of my membership program (also an Heating and a AC inspection - good value all-around I think). Reyna found a problem with Hot Water heater which was fixed by ASI on a later trip (just needed the corrosion removed and a tightening up - warrantee work. It was an 8 year old ASI installation.) At the time I found out that Reyna had just completed training. That really surprised me because she was so professional and careful (not to mention friendly and able to answer my questions). It turns out that ASI sending post-trainees to do inspections was routine as it exposed them to a variety of different issues and tested their problem solving. Good idea.

I recently had some plumbing work performed by Sam and Matt who are two team members from ASI and I felt that a comment on their service was warranted. This was a large job. They thoroughly inspected the plumbing and photographed the sections of cast iron pipe that were almost rusted through. Sewer pipes leaking under the house would be a pretty major problem.
The whole project took about a week. Sam and Matt were here working hard every single day. I am completely satisfied with the work done, and I can’t say enough about these two individuals. They were polite, punctual, very thorough, and definitely knew their craft. I went under the house to check the installation and it was flawless. One aspect of their performance deserved a special mention. Although crawling around in the dirt under the house was extremely messy, they wore overalls and shoe covers when they entered the house. “White glove” service indeed. If you’re looking for plumbers who excel at their trade, definitely give ASI a call.

I recently had my HVAC serviced by ASI and I can’t tell you how happy and relieved I am. Weeks earlier (back in March) I had my system HVAC serviced by Mauzy. After Mauzy left I found the cover not completely seated/installed back on the outdoor condenser unit and a screw laying on the concrete. Additionally, James L., provided me with a list (estimate via email) for the following:
1. Perform condenser coil wash $777.68
2. Remove and replace 40-amp contactor $686.86
3. Install a surge protector (SPD) $994.28
4. Replace HVAC ignitor $362.16
5. Replace flame sensor $362.16
6. Add (to the HVAC system) an extra UV (bulb) system $1,348.74
a. Grand Total = 4,531.88
Back in October 2021 Mauzy billed me $614.06 for 3 to 6 Lbs., of R410A.
Back in November 2023 Mauzy billed me $2,345.89 for a new thermostat.
Also, during our interaction, he was really pushing for the SPD and indicated the other components will soon fail. He made a statement that some of these SPD’s have an “expiration date” some only good for three years. I told him I have a Surge Protection Device at the main service PNL however he stated this was not good enough. As a certified CA., State WA., State Journeyman electrician I know this was not true and he was comparing an SPD to a carton of milk, very concerning. I then knew I was dealing with a technician with no electrical/HVAC knowledge – he only wanted to sell something.
Shortly after he left, I started receiving TEXTS from Kaiya B., (from Mauzy) who was attempting to schedule the recommended service by James L. This is when I notified Kaiya B., that I found a cover loose and a screw on the ground and how disappointed I believed the service was. She got right back and stated she will forward my message to the General Manager however as of this writing I have not heard from anyone at Mauzy.
I then contacted ASI and scheduled a full heating and AC service and inspection to ensure nothing else was left incomplete. That’s when the ASI technician discovered two refrigerant caps were missing. These are the caps they remove to measure the R410A refrigerant during operation (discovered by ASI) and are only accessible after removing the condenser cover. These caps were present last year during the service as I observed the service. Additionally, this is a 2025 California Plumbing Code requirement.
In closing I I’m really disappointed. As an Army Veteran, 40+ years as an electrician, former building inspector and presently a plans examiner for several jurisdictions in California I feel this is a case of taking advantage of elderly people and over pricing services. The ASI technician could not believe the Mauzy price for coil wash, which was completed by ASI as part of the service call today for $87.00. The additional (other) items on the repair list from Mauzy, ASI stated were not needed looked brand new.
I would like to thank the technician Jack Ryan (and ASI) for their honesty/knowledge of the system/thoroughness of the inspection/maintenance and transparency pricing. Additionally, I received a coil wash as part of the system check for a savings of $777.68 dollars.

We needed to replace two water shutoff valves that I broke while attempting to install a new faucet. The valves were so corroded that they broke off when I turned them and started leaking immediately. Went with ASI because they were able to send someone that day, as we had to turn the water off for the whole house. Adrian showed up in the window promised and called 1 hour ahead to let us know he was on the way. While he was in there, we figured he could install the new faucet as well. He then offered me an outrageous quote for both services BUT he then said he’d waive the charges if we signed up for a year of their maintenance plan, which was $240. That was a good deal for the two items I requested, plus now I get annual HVAC inspections and water heater flush for free. Adrian did a quality job replacing the shutoff valves, then found out the faucet was too big for the existing hole in the sink. He kindly took his lunch break while we went out to get the grinder to widen the hole (took about an hour), then he finished fairly quickly. So far everything is working fine. Top notch customer service and repair work from Adrian, and the yearly plan is reasonably priced. We’ll see how much they quote me on the next plumbing or HVAC repair job I need - if it is as high as the initial quote he gave, then I will be looking for alternatives.

Gio and Alexus with ASI arrived on time today to install new water service valves and hoses in the house including all sinks/vanities, toilets and in the laundry room. They were polite, respectful and performed their tasks quietly and efficiently. To say that I am impressed with the ASI techs is putting it mildly!
It's been a long time since I have been treated to people as efficient, thorough, personable, and honest as the two techs that came out to my mobile home to give me an evaluation of my entire plumbing and sewer system underneath my unit, as well as in- house.
Lest you think this is no big deal, mobile homes have a clearance of about two feet which means the techs have to wiggle underneath the entire unit, on their backs, to check out all the water and sewer plumbing. They take videos and pictures of any problematic areas so that they are plainly identified.
Travis came out first and spent over two hours checking out the water heater, furnace, and all the water and sewer plumber beneath the unit. He then showed my partner and me videos and detailed photos of all the issues he had found both above and beneath the unit. A friendlier and nicer guy has yet to be born! My partner, who is an engineer, and very detailed oriented, said that he was thoroughly impressed with Travis and has rarely seen such a comprehensive report!
Since my water heater needs replacement, and there were other issues identified, I asked to be given a price for the needed work. So, Brad a supervisor, showed up the following day. He crawled under the unit again, to verify the extend of the work, and also rechecked the water heater, and inside plumbing. You simply could not ask for a nicer, more cooperative guy. He even asked if there was anything he could do in the way of moving or lifting something for me. I guess my white hair showed that I was not Wonder Woman material.
Anyway, Folks, if you're looking for honesty, thoroughness, and wonderful people to deal with, you cannot do better than the Folks at ASI! I highly recommend them!!

Reasonable price. I have not used ASI since they said all our AC needed replacement on a visit 8 years ago and our 2 AC units were totally fine. Maybe we just had a marginal tech and we swore never to use them again. I highly recommend ASI for emergency services. My hot water heater started leaking water at 8 pm. I called a couple of other emergency plumbers. They never responded or couldn’t show up that night. Antonio Gonzalez with ASI did a fantastic job. We needed our furnace valve replaced. The original part had been discontinued, and the replacement part required an adapter that was tricky. In addition, the old valve had originally been put in (by a different company) with kind of a “glue-like putty” that had hardened like a rock. It was a difficult job. But he worked hard on it, and got the old valve out and the new one installed. Everything worked perfectly when he left. He was also very nice and answered all of our questions very clearly.
